While there is a lot going on in the CockyBoys finale of “MEETING LIAM” between CockyBoys Exclusives Levi Karter, Liam Riley, Ricky Roman & Tayte Hanson with Michael Milano, it’s pretty evident Jake Jaxson is a student of the film medium as his vision of fright night overwhelmingly embodies many tenets of the horror genre, that is, the “Sleepaway Camp” vibe, the police/sheriff/forest ranger whom comes to check in on the frisky young people at a cabin ala “Friday: The 13th” and the super cheeky wink once again to “Scooby-Doo” antics whilst the leads don fraternity garb.
CockyBoys utilizes the latter costuming throughout as Levi, Liam, Ricky, Tayte & Michael are under the ever watchful eye of the mise en scene allure of the haunting whilst sex is underway, thus the main theme illuminates what happens when a group of guys are thrust together in one long night as spooky things unfold before their eyes and ears at CockyBoys.
The essence of a “You are not alone” chill conjures the voyeur as the viewer and then segues to the viewer’s voyeurism becoming another character alongside the protagonists.
The overall delivery is one part guerilla filmmaking by hand held cam which makes the visual appear gritty, yet then switches back to a more stylish approach of capturing fear and lust. We won’t give away the ending, but there’s a predominant presence of the 1978 classic “Halloween” aptly juxtaposed on this Halloween night, in addition to a “Leatherface” embodiment, so once again it’s a lusty frightful night which ends with some eye-popping cock bangs now at CockyBoys.
