Firstly, I’ve honestly never watched any of the more contemporary reality shows on American television, so I am not as familiar with former reality TV blond hunk NYC nightlife star Will Wikle. No, I do not live under a rock, it’s just the only fare I can remember watching in my day aka the early 90’s was an occasional glimpse at MTV’s “The Real World” and then several years later the launch of music competition program “American Idol” and so I’d never seen Will on CBS’ “Big Brother.”
I say this not to seem “different” or “cooler” than anyone, but as a way to be forthcoming in my writing and knowledge of what is developing in the zeitgeist and how current mediums effect pop culture now, thus providing me with the best possible information to engage this readership effectively.
Then, a friend of mine reminded me today that I’d previously watched Wikle in the 2008 spoof movie “Another Gay Sequel: Gays Gone Wild!” and I don’t remember much about the film, so for me CockyBoys’ upcoming feature “THE STILLEST HOUR” is like rediscovering this chiseled stud all over again.
At first glance at the trailer, “THE STILLEST HOUR” immediately invokes my knowledge of mainstream cinema due to the preview evoking some visual homages in its storytelling form via “Basic Instinct,” “American Psycho,” “Misery,” “One Hour Photo” & “Insomnia.”
CockyBoys Exclusive Levi Karter & brawny porn star stud Colby Keller come along with Wikle for the ride as some nuances of “THE STILLEST HOUR” read like CockyBoys Director Jake Jaxson is the gay porn response to Christopher Nolan’s “Inception” in the way the plot traverses between reality and dreamscape in approach, but the viewer is not exactly sure which trance they are actually viewing, so I join fans in seeing where this goes once “THE STILLEST HOUR” begins its rollout this Spring only at CockyBoys.
